Building resilience and transforming the African landscape through scaling up the Great Grean Wall Initiative

With a strong focus on galvanizing climate action and support for implementation at COP27, this event will focus on showcasing the Pan African vision for the Great Green Wall Initiative (GGWI). The event will focus on showcasing the commitment of African countries, mobilise political support and partnerships for resource mobilisation to upscale lessons learnt from the implementation of the GGWI in the Sahel region to other regions on the continent to transform livelihoods and landscapes and build the adaptive capacity of African countries.
